Keyport Centennial Plus Celebration
Help celebrate 113 years of Keyport history!  The town of Keyport will have lots of activities, including music, arts and crafts, food, and an antique car show.  Come to the museum from 10am to 2pm to learn about Navy uniform heritage.  Children will make two Navy hats to take home with them.  We will also have other activities, such as sidewalk chalk, face painting, water tables, and a Navy-related movie showing at 11am and 2pm.

Smithsonian Museum Day
On Saturday, September 25, 2010, the Naval Undersea Museum will participate in the sixth annual Smithsonian Museum Day, presented by Smithsonian Magazine.  Museum Day is an annual event hosted by the Smithsonian Institute, in which participating museums across the country open their doors for free to anyone presenting a Museum Day ticket.  Although admission to the Naval Undersea Museum is always free, we are still participating in this program, and encourage you to as well!  For more information, please visit http://microsite.smithsonianmag.com/museumday/

Family Day
Families with children pre-school to age 12 are invited to Family Day the first Saturday of every month from October through June.  Each Family Day will include an experiment or make and take craft project, a story and song time, and a tour of the galleries.  The fun begins at 10:00am and ends with the tour about 12:00pm.  Join us October 2nd for our first Family Day of the school year!  Call 360-396-5547 for more information.

The Naval Undersea Museum is an accredited museum operated by the United States Navy.  Our mission is to preserve, collect and interpret naval undersea history, science and operations for the benefit of the U.S. Navy and the people of the United States.
