The purpose for which museum facilities are used must be related to the mission of the Naval Undersea Museum or the the U.S. Navy.  Museum facilities may only be used by organizations and groups that comply with Equal Employment Opportunity and Civil Rights laws and regulations.   The museum is a federal facility and is subject to federal laws and regulations that prohibit its use for religious, political, or fundraising events.

The following organizations or personnel may apply to use the facilities of the Naval Undersea Museum.

  • Department of Defense and other federal agencies
  • Public agencies of state and local government

The following facilities are available for use:

Jack Murdock Auditorium: 450 seats.  Used for ceremonies, such as retirements and changes of command; All-Hands meetings; and trainings.



Mary Bonnin Room:  seats approximately 70.  Used for meetings, trainings, and receptions.



Classroom:  seats approximately 20.  Used for meetings and trainings.


In order to make a reservation at the museum, you must fill out the Facilities Request below.  You must comply by all regulations found in Instruction 5755.1.  Please fax the completed form to 360-396-7944 or email to museumoperations@navalunderseamuseum.org.  For any questions, call 360-396-5548.
